Do you think there is enough defined pattern in the fabric to do a stack n whack? I am also on a schedule, must be done by June 5.

How about a WARM WISHES. That pattern seems to use bigger cuts of fabric. I haven't made one yet but plan to soon.

Groovy, were is the Disco? I think some modern geometric style maybe? I think the fabric is very pretty....I like the colors.

There is a mirror you can probably get at a quilt shop. It is about a 6" square and is folded close. When you open it up you put on edge to the fabric to get a view of what your fabric will look like in a stack and whack. I love taking that mirrow with me to a fabric store to see what different fabrics would look like! It is not a real costly tool either.

By the way, the swirl fabric has a pretty big repeat of the design. You might have alot of waste doing a stack and whack with it. Unless the repeat is big enough to use 2 different places from one strip.

You're not going to believe this, but I had some of that blue psychedelic fabric and cut it up in strips to use for log blocks in many quilt blocks.

Love the fabric - maybe something that will show off the pattern - I saw someone post the Take 5 - that looks like a great idea.
