Those are really cute. I could use some new pot holders. Are those "birthed" or is that a binding, kind of looks like they are? Thanks for a really cute idea.

They are "birthed", hand stitched the opening closed, then machined all the way around a 1/4" from the edge.

Just a minute ago I took out of the dryer a potholder I made in the 80's. I can't believe I still have it!! I used denim and the center is a pear!! For early efforts it's not bad!
I need to make some more

Really cute pot holders or pads on the table to put hot dishes on. Great use of scraps. Nice to be able to make such cute things out of scraps that some people just throw away. I do sewn items for a fall boutique and I think these will go in my 'idea file'. Please show us along the way more of your small things.
