Thanks for the nice comments. Simple quilt, but I needed it in two days. Cut it one evening, sewed it the next day, quilted, bound, and in the washer the next.

This is a very thoughtful work of art for Gracelyn. I am sure her and her parents are going to just love it! It will keep her warm for a long time to come. What I kind gesture on your behalf.

Very cute quilt! And really although you didn't know it at the time...there is an actual process called appliquilt where you do just that.... fuse it, sandwich it, and then the stitching down of the fused shapes becomes the machine quilting. I have done it on small pieces, and it works well.
