not really stained glass- but a replica of the stained glass window at church. 14 hours later the top is done, but I'm aggravated with my machine- tension is misbehaving. So went to the trusty Juki and am doing a straight stitch on all the black bias.

So what do you think? I also have some areas where the fabric wants to come out from behind the bias tape- hoping it stays after I sew it down. But if it doesn't- what can I put to make it stay?

I also have fabric cut to create the wood frame. It will be placed on batting and then muslin to create the wall hanging. Also, I will make my first sleeve for hanging.

Lots of firsts in this project- and one of a kind, I can guarantee I will never do this again!

What beautiful work you did. I hope that your problems are solved with the sewing down of the needed parts.

it will hang, once finished, behind the pulpit of our little country church. Today marks the 125th anniversary. I wanted it finished but perfection ruled out, so next week it will go to church with me.

Of course, it will hang if they like it. If not, I'll hang it at home.
