Applique Sampler
#38
This quilt is very similar to one that I made also by Piece o Cake designs. My first needle turn project. It was in 1999 that I started the first block and 2009 when I finished putting the last stitch and had it quilted. I know how you feel, but please don't give up. I entered it in the county fair and it won a blue ribbon. In it, I could see the progress and improvement between my first couple of blocks and the last one. I learned a lot. Please persevere.

They give excellent directions. Very clear and precise. I'm just a slow learner, I think!
I'm so sick of this thing I don't even want to quilt it. I have no idea how to even begin quilting it. I already have a redwork quilt on the frame for hand quilting. I'm not sure I'm at all up to doing hand or machine quilting on this thing. I guess it'll have to go back into storage for another 5 years! Ha!
