    Aqua and Brown Quilt

I longarm quilted this for a local gal. I love her fabric and pattern. I would love to know name of pattern if anybody recognizes it, I believe she said it was free pattern and every time I see her I forget to ask about the pattern. I did a feather in the white and leaves in the aqua and brown and then feathers and swirls in the two borders. Thanks for looking.

Your quilting is beautiful and just right for the simple pattern. I've seen the pattern somewhere recently - looks like the individual blocks consist of just three 2.5" strips. One full-length color, one that has a short white piece on the end and another that is half white, half color. Lovely fabrics on this one.
A fabric stash is always missing that one fabric needed to finish the quilt on which you're working.

    Very nicely done!
And I can see lots of possibilities for variations of this design.

Very delightful!!! I love her aqua, brown and white....especially with this pattern. Your quilting really enhances the pattern and colors. Love the swirls in the border.

I thought I saw Tula Pink demo this pattern on either Nancy Zieman or Kaye Wood. It might have been another quilt show. Sorry I'm not more definite.

The quilt is beautiful. Your quilting is also magnificent. I really like that effect in the outer white border. Very attractive.

It does look an awful lot like a Tula Pink design I saw demo'd on Nancy Zieman's show a few weeks ago. Fantastic quilt and your quilting is awesome.

"Piecin' a quilt's like livin' a life...The Lord sends us the pieces, but we can cut 'em out and put 'em together pretty much to suit ourselves, and there's a heap more in the cuttin' and the sewin' than there is in the caliker...I've had a heap of comfort all my life making quilts, and now in my old age I wouldn't take a fortune for them."
