Your quilt makes me chuckle every time I look at it!
If you've ever had a cat, you "understand"......

That is absolutely adorable!!! I love the old-fashioned look of them. Please let us see it again when it is done.

I'm so glad all of you enjoyed this, the gold material was some of the cancer material they had out a few years back, looks like old fashioned wallpaper, the cat material was purchased a couple years ago on the eastern shore, one of our trips when we went to Tangier Island. I will let you know about the cat material when I find the rest of it, which will be this week as I am beginning the packing ordeal. Williamsburg here we come!!! Farwell to Flordia, land of the lizards, heat, and more heat. Sooo Long

Welcome to VA. You will love the quilt show at Hampton Roads in the spring (just down the road from you). There's also another large one at the Dulles Expo Center outside of DC later in the year.

That is Great! I too would love to be able to find that cat fabric. It would be purrrrfet for my DD2. She loves her kitties so much(6 was 7 but she lost her favorite Snowball a little over a year ago).
She really needs to talk that boyfriend into marrying her . She treats her kitties like they were her babies. (And mom wants some Real Grand Babies)

Thanks ladies, I have been to the one in Hampton, what a great show they have there. Haven't made it to DC yet, looking foreward to Williamsburg. And as soon as I go thru the fabric stash, I will let you know about the cat fabric.

I found this cat fabric this evening, but I haven't had any luck finding any for sale.

The Alexander Henry Fabrics Collection 2006
"elizakitten era"

I searched e-bay, no luck, maybe someone else could be of some help with this?
