This is the week of the big carnival in town. The church I attend has a stand that sells, among other food, pizza. The men usually take care of baking the pizza but they are generally people of all walks of life. Therefore they get burns on their arms from the pizza ovens. I designed arm protectors this year...denim on the outside with insulbrite batting. This is the third prototype I've made and I think it is a success - 19 x 15 inches, 4 inches of elastic sewed 3 inches in on each side. I learned the hard way to sew the middle elastic pieces first!!

Please let us know how this works out. You may have just made something you can patten one day and sell on QVC!
