    Looking at it, I think it could be made with only one block and sashing. The one block would be the "pedals" and the sashing would be white with the aqua pieces where needed. The outside white would be a border.

    You are right, it does look like the waters of the Caribbean. Very nice colors and piecing - waiting for the quilting.
