Ashleighs' quilt is finally done!
Started this quilt for my beloved great niece 2.5 years ago. It is a jelly roll, chosen so I could practice sewing straight. Finished the quilt top about a month later, then set it in a box until I could get to quilting it.
Well, I finally got to it. The quilting is a butterfly and flower end to end. Came out beautifully, and Ashleigh loves it! But she left it at my home because her dog would chew it up and she doesn't want it ruined. Since I see her on a fairly regular basis, the quilt won't get too lonely without her!
The backing is a sheet I found at Goodwill. Hunted through several fabric stores for a fabric that was subdued and yet went with the brightness of the quilt top, with no luck until I came upon the sheet at Goodwill.
