Next to batiks, I swoon for the Asian prints and this one is beautiful. I love that little red accent border you put around it and the squares on point you quilted into the gold colored fabric positively shimmers. Love quilting like that! The back makes this a two sided quilt. Your friend is going to be thrilled with this.

Beautiful quilt, the layout of the pieced borders and the addition of the red add extra interest without overwhelming the center. I really like your choices for the quilting.
