You could sewjoyce I have seen your work on here. Just go for it girl, have to say this is a bit more than a beginner but try out an easy PP there are some instructions on Quilters Cache and the patterns are marked whether they are easy or not.

Thanks for your comments

Debbi, that may be some time but I think its nearly time to get the machine out and do some on the machine now I see how these work out.

You are all spurring me on.

[quote=motomom]This is really going to be stunning. Looks way better for real than it does on the cover. Great Job![/quote

Motomom, I have to agree the picture does not do it justice. I went on the site and saw the ones others had made which really made me want to have a go at this one. Judy Neimeyer shows others quilts on her site if you want to have a look.Thank you for your kind words.

OOOH! I like it! Isn't it wonderful when a pre-conceived opinion of something goes out the window? I was not a big "fan" of oriental prints. Now I think they are gorgeous!

Thanks for posting the pictures! Keep us updated!

Elle, how did the stacking and cutting go??? I found out that I'm not really too good at that. I can't seem to keep from shifting a little bit and then my pieces aren't right. I would think that PP...it would be better as the pieces don't have to be exact..so should work out great.

I guess we are waiting until Mon. to see more progress...pushy folks aren't we???

Loretta and Patti, I did stack I did 4 materials which really isnīt that much and I pinned each PP that had to be cut through. I got some super scissors (Teflon) at Christmas and they cut through 8 thickness. It worked really well, and yes you are corect the PP doesnīthave to be so exact, thats why I canīt do those triangle thingys that you are all so good at, you see to each his own as they say :D
