    I'm sure Aunt Becky has gotten as much joy giving as you have had from this relationship. Some people are just kind and giving. But the quilt will certainly be a bright spot in her life as a recognition of her generosity and the closeness she has felt with your family. It is beautiful.

    I love this quilt pattern and when I finally get around to make it the color will also be purple. I have wanted this pattern for about 20 years when I saw Eleanor Burns make it. I think it’s called the 54-40 fight or flight or maybe Tennessee Waltz? Whichever it is I will eventually make one. Thanks for sharing.
