She is one of a kind for sure. We always called her Crazy Aunt MOna because she has a wonderful sense of humor! She made us put pillows behind her back and drape the quilt over her lap and struck a sorta Marilyn Monroe pose and had us take her picture like that!
She is the best aunt anyone could ever want. :D

:D Nice job Vicki! I'm sure she will love her quilt, almost as much as she loves you for making it.

Thanks everyone. I was feeling so frazzled while trying to get it done in time to bring it with me :!: But it was worth all the worrying and fretting to see how she looked when she saw it. I can't say enough times what a special lady she is.

How delighful to be part of the process...from inspiration to completion...and then to presentation! How gratifying for you, Vicki.

Can definitely see the family resemblance.

Thanks for letting us be a part of it.

Thanks everybody! I was afaraid that I had bored everyone to tears because for the last few weeks, this quilt was all I had on my brain as I worried about whether I could get it done in time. I appreciate ya'll putting up with me and thanks for all the nice comments.
    Vicki
