this is a Missouri star pattern. Jenny Doan had a tutorial online for it. And it was made with a jelly roll. The square in a square are 3 inches with the little colored sashing finished at 3/4 inches

Certainly worth the hassle of all the little pieces as it turned out beautifully. I will have to add this one to my bucket list. I love it.
