put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

I know. I get so many people asking can I make them a quilt like these but I can only do them for family and my close friends as I can't get paid for actually making the quilt. The person I'm making it for must buy the doona cover themselves and then out of the goodness of my heart, I will quilt it. I could be doing these full-time and making a lot of money but alas.....

Yes, it is like a duvet.

Annette, I buy the doona cover, unpick the seams, add batting and a new backing if I want to, then quilt it like I would any other quilt. The pattern is already done so it is just a matter of outline quilting the design, then adding whatever I like in the outer areas.

OH,, I want them both! But not enough to make one by myself. Beautiful quilts from a talented quilter. Thanks for sharing them with us.
A quilt is like a good life. It's full of mistakes, but, in the end, it looks pretty good.
