It was a pleasure to see what you saw - love them - do you know what method was used in the man, dog campfire one?

Jetayre the quilt was a combination of painting and quilting.

Quiltmakers Statement: True Blue Mates by Yvonne Chapman. To portray a poem I wrote for the Challenge about mateship and the love of travelling through the bush. The swagman was the first image that came to mind as something typically Australian, and the loyal Blue Heeler, a true Australian working dog. The yellow wattle and green in the background for the 'True Blue' Australian colours. My husband was the model for the swagman, and Ned is my friend's dog.

Wonderful work, and exciting to see how different cultures are reflected in the quilts. Thank you for taking the time to share
