I hope you enter this in the State Fair so I can come see it. I was debating on whether to go this year but seeing this and maybe having a chance to see it just might sway me into going. Good Job Jan

I would try a pressing sheet and go over it all now that you have it stitched down. My guess is that you were light on the ironing for fear of scorching it . It is gorgeous and can hardly wait to see the moose! I have done a McKenna Ryan piece and it fused down okay. Jan

I've been wondering this, as I never can see any stitching around the pieces.
I stitched around the pieces on the longarm. Some people satin stitch on a DSM. My pieces were definitely not stuck down well enough to even consider not stitching them. I used steam-a-seam-lite. I don't know if a different fusible (or a heavier hand on the iron) might mean that you don't need to stitch the pieces down, but actually the stitching adds to the design so I think I would stitch anyway.
Most fusibles are not permanent and need to be stitched down. Also some of the fusible glue is absorbed into the fused piece and with the light fusibles will not stick well or long.
