    That's pretty darn cute. I love all those quilts made of different animals...or all the same ones in different colors. Great job for your friend.

    Not winking, he really did have only one eye for most of his life due to an injury. He was a fun little guy with a big personality.

    My friend did know the quilt was being made at some point because I asked her to pull pictures for me when sorting through her mom’s things after seeing the quilt. I have some really detailed notes on white ears etc. Some of the doggies are related so are on the quilt together. Balancing the colors was not easy! I spent a few months hunting for different appropriate browns and tans. Btw, the orangish one is a rescue and part Pomeranian so really is orange.

    Thanks for all the compliments everyone. I enjoyed making it. Someone already gave the link to the Etsy shop for Sew Fresh Quilts which is where the idea for this quilt originated.
