Baba's Christmas lap quilt

If you see it closer up, you see that the points aren't quite perfect, but they are pretty good. I really like this quilt for showing me how much my quilting has improved over the past year. My next quilt will be a simpler pattern though! I have a Rail Fence partially completed in the UFO pile, and it's going to be a nice break!
Thanks everyone for the kind comments. They give me the encouragement I need to start on the next step - sandwiching and quilting.

That's a lot of points to match and you did a great job!
What a special quilt, she will be thrilled!
(and you should give yourself a pat on the pat for sticking with and finishing such a difficult quilt!)

As a fellow Ukie, I can tell you she is going to love that quilt. We Ukrainians tend to be sentimental people and it will mean a lot to her that you made something so special and thought about her heritage in choosing your pattern and color.
