Baby Blanket Patches
#1
A friend wanted a baby quilt for her granddaughter made from her embroidery patches she made 35 years ago. So.....It took me several weeks to get this all done, but I finally did.
I started with the 4 big images that were all the same size. Then she said she had 2 more...and they were smaller. So, needless to say, I had a LOT of measuring to do to get it to fit right.
I used designs printed off my computer, traced them on freezer paper, then ironed the paper to the blanket and stitched through the lines and tore off the paper for the quilting.
Oh...and I had to do the feather stitching on the border...made it look better than just attached binding.
Should I give this blanket a name? If so...any ideas?

Goodness!
I must REALLY be color challenged, because I thought it was a lot of good pretty pink ... <shaking head> I don't think I am ever going to get that learned, because I really did think it was quite fine, and very well-done.
As for a name ... mama's got friends
come to mind <g>.
