Very cute!! I did mine rectangle, made 4 from 1 yard of flannel, they have 2 layers of flannel and I put scraps I had of fleece between them. Can't' wait to hear back from the mom-- to hear if they worked!!

Very cute! Congratulations on your baby. I've got to make some of these for my granddaughters.

You will love the burp cloths. They will save the shoulders of you clothes. Enjoy your new baby. They don't stay small very long.

Very nice, you will love them! I make tons of burp cloths for my dd, dil and all their friends all out of flannel. They literally can't get enough of them!! Flannel is soooo soft and they wash up beautifully getting softer with each washing.
Congratulations and good luck with your new little one.

I was actually wondering if I should put something in between the two pieces of flannel or if the two should be enough. Thats sorta why I haven't made a ton of them yet. I really want to try and make some bibs but I don't have a pattern and would hate to make a bunch and not have them fit.

I have so much quilter flannel that I can make a ton of these. I just have to wait and see if I get any from my baby shower on the 30th.
Enjoy!

P.S. I'm now 30 weeks pregnant! Only 10 more weeks to go!
Alyssa, your burp cloth is really cute. Go ahead and make more if it helps you pass the time. You will need a lot if your baby is like mine were!LOL Tell your friends and family what you are doing so they do not buy them for you.
I have to say I did not know what a burp cloth was until a few years ago when my DGGD was born. We just used cloth diapers for burping (back in the day before disposeables). I made several for my DGGD and now that my other DGD is expecting I am going to make some and practice FMQ.
