It is really nice. I see that you decided to make a quilt for a baby to grow with like the one I am doing. I will try to post a pic tomorrow or on the weekend. Well done .

My niece had her little girl this morning. Her mum said she did not know if Tracey had the baby in the wheel chair or if they made the bed. From the time the water broke to the birth 15 minutes max. the baby is 6lb.8oz and very small. Each block has a different girl in a ballet position.

This is only the block at the moment but will try to finish most if the top over the weekend because I ran out og the lavender fabric until after Wednesday.

Congratulations on the new arrival but Oh My! - I hope Mum and baby are fine as a very quick birth can be very traumatic for them!! I think 6lb 8oz is quite a size to birth so quickly ouch!!

Your baby quilt is going to be gorgeous, it's going to be set 'attic window' style? LOVE the fabrics, show more in your own thread when you get a bit more done so we can all follow it's progress, its going to be a beauty!!

I did not make it that way. Once I finish the top you will see it better. My sister said that the baby was blue due to the sudden birth but I know it will soon go. thank you for your compliments.

Well I have just received word that everyone 'loves' Lily's quilt, especially here big sister carmen who is four....she wants one too!! So I guess I will be making another - not the same - but similar quilt for her on my return from holiday
