For the letters, I found some templates online, not sure which website, and printed them on card stock. I fused my fabric using heat n bond and them traced them onto the backing and cut them out. Be sure and turn them backwards! I mark a b on each letter template to remind myself. I fused them onto the banner after quilting the background and did a simple straight stick around. I figured that raw edge applique would work as it will not see much time in the washer. With the heat n bond there was really no fraying at all. Have fun making yours!
