Jeanne scores again with her unerring eye for color and design.

When I was a kid, there was a house not far away that was painted pink and gray. It was the first color combination that caught my attention, probably because it stood out in conservative New England. In those days, it was common for boys to wear pink Oxford-cloth shirts and gray pants.

PS - Thanks for spelling "gray" like an American.

What a sweet quilt - I just love the color combination, and the design works very well with the fabrics you picked.

Can you share the pattern name please? I think I see the pinwheels are made with rectangles and snowballing one end, am I correct? I have a baby quilt to make and my pattern is using pinwheels made with half square triangles.
Thank you!
Yes, it is made with rectangles and snowball squares. The rectangles are 3 1/2" x 6 1/2" and the squares are 3 1/2". Copycat posted the right link on post #28 in this thread---thanks copycat!!
