That is so beautiful!!She is gonna love it! I bet that since God has now seen this quilt waiting for her he will send an angel for you to wrap in it soon!

A lady I worked with had crocheted me a baby blanket. She said that she put a fertility blessing on it and that I should sleep with it until the baby was born (I wasn't pg @ the time). Well that darn blanket worked so well I have 3 little ones!!

Donna,
I had a whole tub of quilts, animals, baby bibs, burp cloths etc. ready for my first grandchild. I called the tub "Leta's Things" from a dream I had about a grandaughter named Leta. Two years later, I got my first grandchild named Noah. I jokingly said I would still call him Leta.

I have several quilts made for my non-existent grands(maybe 7). My grandma died about 6 years ago, and I inherited all her stash and such, and there were quite a few orphan blocks, so I made them into baby quilts. No my Grands will have some thing from their g-g-gma.
They turned out really nice.

Donna: A word of advice: Be careful what you wish for! In 2000 I "whined" because I had only one beautiful 1 y/o granddaughter. By the end of Feb. 2001, I had five grands! Granddaughter got a baby brother on Feb. 10th, and their aunt had triplets on Feb. 27th! We suddenly had 5 grands under 2 yrs. old! Wow! Busy enjoying them ever since.
