That is adorable. You did a great design and love the 3-D leaves. Thanks for sharing.

That is beautiful. I have a silly question, is it machine washable with the 3D leaves?

Thank you all. I really had soooo much fun making this silly little quilt. Baby quilts are always fun to make - fast, easy, small, and full of joy! The leaves are removable. The quilt is meant to hang on the wall in the baby's room, so I just safety pinned the leaves on. If they wanted to lay the baby on it for pictures, I thought they should be able to easily remove the leaves. And to answer another question ~ I made my own pattern. I used EQ some, but mostly just went by the 'picture' in my head. I drew the tree branch & most of the other appliques. I was going to draw the owls, but found the perfect 'template' by accident. A little kiddie color w/ markers wooden valentines owl. It was the perfect size for the 2 smaller owls, and & enlarged it via a copier for the mama owl. If I had been looking for it, I never would have found it. But I was just walking by a table in JoAnns on Valentines day & there it was! Wahoo! And thanks to a couple of snow days in GA, I was able to get it made in no time a all. I deliver it to the grandma-to-be today. I can't wait to see her face. =) Thanks again! Donna Mc

I like animals with personality in their faces and yours has it. Well done.
