Congratulations on your new DGD!!!! She will be a star in your life!!!!! Your quilt is darling. My DD still has her baby quilt at age 36 and it is thread bare but she still loves it. Her DD also has one similar but not as thread bare. So I hope your GD loves hers that much!!!!

In 1981 I made my grand daughter a quilt. I was to her home to see my great grand son last summer and he was laying on the quilt I made her. I actually forgot about it so was really surprised to see how well it had held up over her young years.

Precious. I tell everyone who gets a baby quilt from me that I want it worn out from love.
