Default Baby quilt - Elephants in a bamboo forest

I just love the fabrics in this one. My boss is in her early 40s and having her second child. She married late, and she and her husband are just thrilled. It has been a dreadful few weeks in the office, and I relieve stress through sewing Rather than waiting until near when the baby is due (late March), I figured she could use a pick-up now. The quilting design in the green squares is called "Bamboo Forest" and is from one of Leah Day's books. The elephant squares are quilted much lighter using a scallop ruler on my Sweet 16 - a first for me. I've used straight rulers, but this was the first time for a more complicated ruler. I still have some learning to do! I used a variegated Aurifil thread (green and white) on the top and a gray pre-wound SuperBob on the back. I thnk she'll like it (and hope the little boy will too).
