Your quilt is so adorable but to know that it's only your second quilt, now that's amazing! Your satin stitch looks fantastic! I can't wait to see your future creations!

Wow, you are so creative, love the colors and shapes, it is just darling and the amount of work you put in to it to hand quilt it is awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Aww, thanks everyone! When I heard my friend was pregnantI just started drawing and came up with the design for the center panel, it was relatively easy then to blow up the drawing at my copy shop and make paper templates for everything. The border and corners evolved while I was picking out fabrics, which are all organic, most of them from Spoonflower. The drawing was done sometime in March, and I finished the quilt just yesterday, so it took awhile, but it was totally worth it! :-) Oh and I totally can't take credit for the satin stitching around the applique...my machine just does a wonderful job at satin stitching!

Thanks again everyone, and yes, I'm motivated and there will be more to come! :-)
