Baby quilt for grandson
#24
You have a couple of sweet looking little guys, hopefully you get to enjoy them often. Very cute and a pretty good photographer too. And the quilt with the embroidery looks like it was fun to make.

What a "spiffy" quilt! You combined some many of the techniques of hand craftmanship. Be sure he understands that it was Grandma's hands that put all those stitches into this wonderful gift.
While it's not the case with your creativity and the results of it, so often, I've seen folks believe they don't have enought resources nor are they creative / smart enough to give a gift such as this to someone. Oh, what wrong-thinking that is.
Remember how Moses fussed at be a leader? He didn't have a great speaking voice, but he had a shepherd's staff in his hand. With that staff he accomplished a great deal.
You took what you had in your hand...needle, thread, fabric, time, and your inspiration...and created an heirloom for your grandson.
What a legacy you've "handed" to him. :-)
