    Baby quilt for great niece

My brotherís daughter was expecting a baby October 29, but due to health problems for the mommy, they decided to take baby 6 weeks early. Baby Adelaide arrived Friday. Both baby and mommy are doing fine! I had already started a quilt for the baby (without knowing genderóthe big reveal was planned for baby shower this Saturday). I used Sail Away fabric by Clothworks. The friendship star sashing is from a Jenny video at MSQC. It measures 33x43. Thanks for looking.

    Very cute,,,
Besides my family, my pets are the most important things to me. I have had birds, a dog or cats since I was about 8 years old. The cruelest thing you can do to me is take my animals away.

Wonderful news about mom and baby. It's always a scary stressful situation when baby comes early. You hit the spot with the choice of pattern and colors.
