    Default A "Hush" bribe....

A good friend at the Tuesday night meeting of the Strippers and Hookers would not hush about my different purses. She didn't want to make any "da*n" purse but would give me the "d" fabric if I'd make it for her.

I told her I'd show her how to make one but again she didn't want to make the "da*n" thing. So in order to hush her up (she's around 70) I went and got fabric I knew she'd been eyeing and made a "hush up" Bow Tuck for her along with a little zipper pouch.

Hope it hushes her up (kidding...she's a dear). She makes absolutely wonderful detailed quilt tops so I can't imagine why she wouldn't do a purse.

It is always nice to receive something that you may could make but don't want to. How special you are to do this for a friend. Love the colors you chose.

I am not fond of making purses. So, maybe that is her reason.

I don't like to make things other than quilts either. I tried to buy a purse sample at a quilt show, but they would only sell me the pattern. I knew I would never make it, but my friend that was with me said if I bought all the materials, she would make it. It turned out great and she is now in the purse business.
