    Baby Quilt for new nephew

I cut all of this quilt with my Studio Accuquilt cutter, except the border. I love this quilt. Here is Dad holding it up and looking at it. sorry about the side ways. I never can get it to stay turned.

    Happy quilting, Vicki

Yellowwroses, there is no pattern. it came out of my head, sounds like trouble. lol... Here is what I did. cut 2in strips half background and half bright colors. sew them together lengthwise. cut the into sqaures of 3 1/2 inches. sewed 4 together into a 4 patch. make sure you turn them all the same way or you will have pinwheels going the oppostie each other. I used fat quarters and have lots left over. I had 8 fat quarters of a hand died print. and a little over a yard of background. You could do it with 6 fat quarters and have enought (I think). I probably can make a smaller one for a charity quilt with what is left over. Vicki
