My first quilt
Well, it's too small to be called a real quilt but still.
The kids fell in love with it and wouldn't budge from it so the photo includes them!
Then again that may be for the best... at least then my terrible binding won't notice so much!
I made the mistake of using batting AND a fluffy fleece blanket for the backing...all that fluffiness made for tricky binding in addition to me not quite knowing what I was doing and not having internet access to check...I realised too late that I should have sewn the first pass of binding on the back rather than the front.
Oh well, the kids love it and so does hubby.
I would have been much happier with better binding but I've learnt my lesson now so that's ok.

It seems that you have made some little people very very happy. A quilty hug is an amazing thing. Be proud of your first quilt...... I'm sure we all have a skeleton quilt in our closets - LOL LOL LOL.
