I have a friend who is expecting a baby in January, and I have been mulling over quilts to make her. She does not want to know the sex, so finding something neutral has been a challenge. Because this is her second baby, I had not anticipated her deciding to have a shower...this Saturday!

Last weekend I found 16 nine patch squares. along with the leftover fabric...I had made over 8 years ago...and they were just sitting there...WooHoo! I alternated them with white patches and had a baby quilt in no time.

One of the great parts of having your own quilting machine is you can "throw" it on and work like crazy and have it done in a couple of days. Yesss!!

I just wanted to share!

Wish I had some 9 patches laying around. I'd whip up 2 quilts for my DGD's in no time instead of slaving away on a kit I had no business even thinking of makeing. They're my 1st quilts and they have stars and tons of points to match. ugh!! But, your quilt is beautful. The colors are just right for a boy/girl/neutral!
