that is a sweet little quilt. How big is it? I like your plan using the fat quarters

The finished size is 35.5x39.5

My fats were off and kind of misshapen, so I had to trim them down to 17x19

The first cut was along the length, at 11", which left one side 11x17 and the other side 8x17.

Then I just cut squares from each side. So on the 8" side, I cut an 8" square and was left with a 8x9 rectangle, on the 11" side I cut an 11" square and was left with a 6x11 rectangle.

Then I just mixed em up, and used one of each fabric in each block.

I was using a 5FQ bundle, so the 5th one, I cut in 2" strips for the border. It is (obviously) pieced. This gave me *just* enough for the border. I had two 2" squares and a few teeny strips from straightening my edges left over of fabric. Very little scraps from making this top!
