Don't worry - this is a super mom, and it's her second child. She laid the baby on the quilt just to take a picture for me. My thought in putting a fabric with little girls on the back is so she can use it when baby gets older as a "tummy time" quilt. This is when you let baby lay on their tummy when awake to play. It's necessary for proper development, and they are supervised the whole time. Thank you all for kind remarks. I had fun making this to go with the nursery design. Since they live in another state, midwest, I've never been there, but hope she will be visiting her mom in the northeast this summer so we will get to meet the new little girl.

That just about melts your heart doesn't it. Very nice quilt - I can see it will be well loved. Seeing that does make it worthwhile to quillt!
