Those are so fun! I really like that your work shows so well in the blocks, they are the perfect size backgrounds for them.

Those are Sewing with Bonnie's embroidery designs correct or something like that for her website? I have similar ones and bought the mylar to go with them but have been afraid to use them on a quilt due to how well they will wash up. Have you washed your quilt and if so how did it wear for the mylar? Love the fabrics your used on your quilts and love the window pane idea with the birds. Very clever.

I don't know if the glitterflex is the same as the mylar. I got the glitterflex from Bonnie too. Sew Inspired by Bonnie. She assured me that as long as I fused the glitterflex well that it would wash without a problem. I washed this quilt yesterday and put it through the dryer. If anything, that process made it more of a part of the fabric. The glitterflex is well bonded and is now as soft and flexible as the base fabric. I would not hesitate to use it on children's clothing. It is a great product. Bonnie has a tutorial on her site how to use the glitterflex. Proceed without hesitation as this was easy and the designs were perfect to stitch.
