Now that I've mastered posting pictures, here are two baby quilts I made. I used the same fabrics in both just different amounts of light & dark. The dark pink is hand quilted, the light pink is machine quilted. I really wish I had put more quilting in both but the babies were already months old before either girl got hers. The flowers on both are needle turn applique.

This questions is for Kiayav10. How did you do the railroad cars? It looks like a sheet is the background . . . and that it is not quilted? The cars are great! Is there a pattern? Thank you!

Both are GREAT ! Have a question . How did you make the border wavy (?) on the dark pink one ? I like that border . Was it very hard to do ?

Not hard at all, I left it straight until I had the inner sections quilted then marked it, cut it, quilted it and use double fold bias binding. The binding was no more difficult than a straight edge.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

You did great work on these quilts, beautiful! I especially like the dark one. I've never tried needle turn applique, is it hard?

Look great! Especially like how the second one has a curvy shape, that's neat.
