Karla I think you did an awesome job. I agree, you are way too hard on yourself.
Don't laugh but on my last quilt I used an SITD foot and some of my squares came out like yours so that just goes to show, even with the right foot some things just don't go as planned.
Me I have learned that nothing is perfect, to be happy with what I do when I have done my best and there is always room for improvement so I practice, practice, practice!!

I think these are so cute! And with the design being so classic they will grow with the kids and not look too "babyish" in a few years.

I think your quilting looks great! I am NOT good at FM, but when I do give something away that I don't think is up to par, the giftee NEVER notices. We are our own worst critics.

Oh gosh Karla it looks gorgeous! I love the sun quilting. A quilt that i did a few weeks ago for a friend, my free motion parts were not bad, but when i tried to free-motion straight lines, mine came out really bad, believe me, yours looks good, looks so nice :)

Well, I'll admit, once the first one's binding was pinned, I tossed it into the pile with the rest, and when I opened it to show Jenny all the goofs, I had to really look for the bad parts. So...later I didn't think it was so bad. The grandma to be on the horse forum is saving her money for traveling to see the babes when they arrive, so she's not buying them. I'm kind of glad to be able to keep one. even though they'd be perfect for twins.

Done is the most important part. They both look good and only the quilt police would care about the quilting. Lovely color combos.

See....thats the great thing about the quilting...and after they are washed, you probably won't be able to find what you are calling "the bad parts" at all! I think you did a great job!
