It is a rocket quilt, for my DD, a Rocket Scientist. We tease her about being a rocket scientist because she is really an aeronautical engineer.

Hand quilting is now done. Yay!!!

I still have binding left to do. Should I use Red or Blue?

Hand Quilting done on My First Quilt. I'm so excited!!!

Great job! I'd use blue for the binding.

beautiful job. i know she will love it. if it were mine i ibelieve i would pick up the dark blue for the binding. kind of frame it. although i think whatever you choose will look great.

Very Nice!!! My dad was an aeronautical engineer as well. I made him a quilt for the "rock scientist" with apollo rockets and the space shuttle and planets and stuff. I would go for the blue binding as well!

Great quilt!! I think I'd probably use a red border just because I like red best

I think red would make the whole thing POP. Beautiful quilt!

Just to keep things even... I'd go for blue! lol

But I seriously think either colour would work really well. Blue is my favourite, so I lean towards it whenever there's a choice. But red is stronger, and would have more of an impact.

Your quilt turned out really nice. I just love the colors & the pattern, that you have used. As for the border, I just think it's a matter of personal preference. Either blue or red, would work just great.
    :D :D :D :D
