Thread: First post, first pic, third quilt top

    Hi everyone!

    I've been lurking for quite awhile now but this is the first time I've been brave enough to post. I've only been quilting for a couple of years, and this is the third top I've completed. It doesn't look too bad from a distance, so i'm taking a chance.

    The block pattern is called "No Name Block 2" from quilterscache.com. The sashing I just kind improvised.

    The kitten is Pi, and she was sure that this was HER photo shoot.

    Lol it's so funny that cats and quilts seem to go together. I like your choice of colors and i also like the pattern. looks like you did a great job. Very pretty quilt.

    I just LOVE everything about this quilt! You did a really nice job on it. Your fabric choices are wonderful for this pattern. And you have the kitty to confirm what a wonderful quilt it is! Beautiful!

    LOL! Yep, that's what cats do, mine included. This is a great quilt & looks big too. You did a wonderful job.

    nice big quilt.. I have not been brave enough to finish such a big quilt yet but I'm getting there. Thank for daring. I love looking at quilts, It gives me ideas. Yours is really nice!

    The quilts looks great. You did a great job with the lights mediums and darks. I think that is the thing that really makes a quilt pop

    Very nice job and so glad that you posted it for us to see! Your colors are lovely and remind me of fall. I love quilterscatche too, as they have wonderful free patterns, and so many of them to choose from.
