    Lucky you for having your DH build yours. I was lucky too, in that my DH built one for me a year ago, but it was way too high, about 31.5 before I sat my machine on top of it! Oops, we had a bit of a miscommunication on that one. Not possible to lower it, either, as it was placed on top of three kitchen cabinets on the floor. I struggled for a year with that, even tried to raise my chair, and just couldn't get it to work right. We recently moved it out into the attached garage so that I can use it for cutting out large things or when I baste my quilts together.

    Back to square one on trying to find something that will work for me in my smallish sewing room, our second bedroom - and on a budget. Thanks so much for the link, too. Very nice!
