Yes, it was our last Quilting day for 2011. We commence again in January 2012. We meet once a month on the second Saturday. Our group is called Telequilters, being founded some 20 or more years ago by a group of girls who worked on the Telephone exchange. We meet at one members home who has the room to cater for 20 members. We do take it in turns to host our homes if this member is away. They are a great group and we do achieve some amazing things.
Our Christmas quilt day is more social with us all contributing to a scrumpous lunch. We do a simple quick Christmas project and we have a few competitions. This year we all made two fabric bingo mats and played the game. These squares will now be made into charity quilts next year. I was on the Social committee this year so I organised the project which was a primitive lace angel.

It is my own pattern so I will attach it here for anyone wishing to make her.

Beautiful job. I bet other people will be using this idea at their guild meetings.
