It's almost done. Coming into the home stretch! Two more sides of flying geese, another purple border and then a wider cream border. Then I have to iron and starch 10 1/2 yards of fabric for the backing.

Going to get more of the geese done tonight.

I told my friend this is like being 9 1/2 months pregnant--so ready to have it be done!

This is a King 114 by 126. I started it Memorial Day 2010. I set it aside for about 6 months.

it look wonderful. Two friends did this quilt. It was the hardest thing one of them had ever done. But oh was it gorgeous. So I would say as pretty as the quilt looks on the photo, it doesn't start to do it justice.

It's very, very striking. A ton of work.

Is this your second one!?!?!?? If looks like a different colorway than your avatar, but that could just be the lighting or my monitor.
