    Baltimore album block

Since I love appliquing...my 2018 project is to begin a Balimore album quilt. The one I want to do is MEC 1848 but I thought I try one block first to test it out. Made this pillow. This is turned-edged but machine appliquéd (teeny tiny zigzag so you don't see it) since I don't enjoy hand needle work all that much... I'm also practicing free-motion with small projects.

Beautiful. I love Baltimore Album quilts. Your machine treatment of this applique skill is very nice. Keep up the good work and show us your progress. I have one about half done. It has been in storage for a long time. I would really like to finish it before my demise!

A Baltimore Album quilt is on my bucket list. That pillow is wonderful. I hope you follow your heart and make the quilt too.
