on picking my colors.. i went thru my stash. mom gave me lots from a friend and i wanted to see if i could use it.. i just picked and threw out and picked again...i am not really good at color picking.. but i like these colors together and figured,,how could i go wrong..

i would say if you can follow barb_mo's directions on her tute and you can sew straight lines then there is no problem doing it...
its sewing strip after strip... recutting the sewn strips... and then sewing them together again.. pinning helped me and that 1/4 in. seam allowance.. i am self taught with no classes behind me.. if the directions are good.. i can usually pull it out on a beginner/intermed. level... this pattern falls in that category with ease... pluse you have help with any questions from anyone doing one with barb.
