What a fantastic idea! I've never seen a barn quilt before, but this sure makes me want to build a barn just so I can have one!

Excellent, the colors she finally selected really work well with the color of the barn = great work

Looks great!
I want one on my fence in the city! Ha! Well, maybe inside where I can view it from the back windows.
I did find a garden flag with a barn of sorts with a quilt block on it. Guess that is my "barn quilt". Ha!
Now, are you inspired to make your DD a matching fabric quilt???

That is very nice! I also made one for my barn and entered it into an exhibit at the county fair. But I just couldn't see putting a pretty painted quilt onto an old faded barn, so my barn got a new coat of paint also. STill in the process of finishing the barn. I'll post a pic when finished. Good job!

I love your barn quilt...I'm getting ready to do one. Tell what kind of paints you used...also semi-glossy or flat??

What a fun family project. The colors are great that you daughter picked and it looks great on the barn.
