Is that technically a "she-shed"??? I had never heard of that until someone at Master Gardener's mentioned it.

I've wanted a barn quilt for a long long time....husband says no way. The property was his when we got married and although there are three large buildings here, he thinks it would make it look junky. So I'm thinking of taking square patio blocks and painting one like a barn square and putting it on the back deck where I sit in good weather.

Thank you all for your nice comments. We have no chickens anymore just use the building for storage. I am downsizing my sewing as we are moving into a town home in a nearby town next spring. I currently house my quilting in the upstairs of our big farmhouse - five rooms. I will have a small sewing space when we move and that is fine with me. Am slowing down with quilting projects - make mostly for donating. When we move I already have a couple of spots for my barn quilt so yes it goes with me.

Fabulous! I want one though I have no barn. I would put it on the side of my house.
